How can foreigners become students at HCMULAW?
According to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, foreign candidates are eligible for direct admission if they meet certain requirements. If you are a foreigner and wish to become a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (HCMULAW), please prepare and submit the following documents within the specified time.
Application Period: Submit your application directly from 8:00 a.m on June 10, 2024, to June 30, 2024, at Room A.102, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, No. 02 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ward 13, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.
Required documents:
- Original of admission application form;
- Copy of valid passport: The passport must be valid for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least one year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam;
- Copy of high school transcript: Issued by the representative of the Board of Directors of the high school where the candidate studied;
- Copy of high school diploma or equivalent;
- Copy of Vietnamese language proficiency certificate: At least level 3/6 according to the Vietnamese language competency framework for foreigners.
For candidates graduating from high school or equivalent from foreign educational institutions, the following additional documents are required:
- Copy of Recognition of high school diploma or equivalent: Issued by the Department of Education and Training. If this document is not available at the time of application, the candidate must have a commitment to submit it later, within a maximum of 3 months from the application deadline;
- Translated copies of diploma and academic transcript: Translations must be from a foreign language into Vietnamese and authenticated by competent Vietnamese authorities.
Please note: All copies must be notarized or authenticated according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.
