UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
Ho Chi Minh City University of Law dedicates 8% of tuition revenue to establish a scholarship fund aiming at supporting students with outstanding academic achievements and exceptional leadership skills. The total annual allocation for the University’s Scholarship Fund amounts to nearly VND 30 billion.
- Scholarship for Outstanding Students: Students with excellent academic achievements will receive a scholarship equivalent to 150% of the tuition they paid during the academic year.
- Scholarship for Good Students: Students with good academic achievements will receive a scholarship equivalent to 100% of the tuition they paid during the academic year.
- Dream Lighting Scholarship: Student with exceptionally difficult conditions. The scholarship amount can be vary year to year.
- Support to School Scholarship: For freshman students in particularly difficult circumstances who cannot afford tuition. The scholarship amount ranges from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000. In special cases, the university may consider granting a scholarship covering 50% to 100% of the standard program tuition.

• SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS FROM ENTERPRISES AND THE ULAW ALUMNI NETWORK
- Dinh Thien Ly Scholarship: For students who wish to apply for scholarships to overcome difficulties in their studies, enhance study conditions, or fund research projects. Active participation in social work, community support activities, and maintaining a GPA of 7.0 or higher is required. The scholarship amount is VND 14,000,000 per year.
- Scholarship from Vietnam Aviation Insurance Corporation: For students with outstanding academic and training achievements (winning national or international awards, achieving excellent or good academic standing). The scholarship amount is VND 3,000,000 per year.
- KOVA Award Scholarship:
- COURAGE Category: For students with good academic standing, good ethics, who come from poor/near-poor households, or who are orphans or have parents with disabilities/serious illnesses, facing financial difficulties confirmed by the local authority. The scholarship amount ranges from VND 8,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 per year (depending on the number of eligible applicants during the scholarship cycle).
- PROSPECT Category: For students with excellent academic standing (a cumulative GPA of 9.0 or higher), good ethics, who have successfully conducted scientific research with good results, or have won awards at the university level or higher (as the project leader). The scholarship amount ranges from VND 8,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 per year (depending on the number of eligible applicants during the scholarship cycle).
- Luong Van Can Talent Support Fund Scholarship: For students with a cumulative GPA of 8.5 or higher, holding English language certificates (TOEIC, IELTS, or equivalent) or other foreign language certificates. The scholarship amount varies annually.
- Kumho Asiana Scholarship: For new regular students who are top scorers in the entrance exams, facing difficult or extremely difficult circumstances. The scholarship amount is VND 2,150,000 per semester.
- Support to School Scholarship - Tuoi Tre Newspaper: For freshman students with particularly difficult family situations (confirmed by local authorities or the university) and high entrance exam scores. The scholarship amount ranges from VND 7,000,000 to VND 10,000,000 per instance.
- YKVN Law Firm Study Encouragement Scholarship:
- EXCELLENT Students: Students with a cumulative GPA of 7.5 or higher at the time of scholarship application. The scholarship amount is VND 5,000,000 per student.
- OVERCOMING HARDSHIP Students: For students facing particularly difficult circumstances, with a strong determination to overcome challenges in their studies, actively participating in university and social activities, and participating in Youth Union and Student Union activities. The scholarship amount is VND 10,000,000 per student.
- Tam Tai Viet Fund Scholarship: For students from ethnic minorities in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions; students with disabilities confirmed by a competent medical examination council as having a loss of 41% or more of labor capacity; and students from poor households overcoming financial difficulties to study, with a good academic standing. The scholarship amount is VND 20,000,000 per academic year.
