Tuition support programs

With a commitment to prioritizing students at the heart of our mission, ULaw engages in a wide range of initiatives to support and care for our students. The university offers tuition supports for students facing financial hardships and provides scholarship programs for those with outstanding academic achievements, leadership potential, and exceptional talents.

TUITION SUPPORT PROGRAMS

The university applies tuition exemption and reduction policies, as well as support for study costs, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Tuition Exemption is provided to the following groups:
    • Students who are relatives of people recognized for their service to the revolution, as per government regulations.
    • Students with disabilities.
    • Students aged 16 to 22 pursuing their first university degree who are eligible for monthly social support or who are orphans without support, studying at the secondary or college level.
    • Students enrolled under government quotas for admission to educational institutions in the national education system.
    • Students from ethnic minorities who have a parent or both parents, or grandparents (in cases where the student lives with them), belonging to poor or near-poor households as defined by the government.
    • Students from very small ethnic minorities who are living in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions as defined by the current regulations of competent authorities.
  • 70% Tuition Reduction is provided to:
    • Students from ethnic minorities (excluding very small ethnic minorities) in areas with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions as defined by the state.
  • 50% Tuition Reduction is provided to:
    • Students who are children of officials, civil servants, or workers whose parents suffered work-related accidents or occupational diseases and receive regular support.

Support for Study Costs

  • 100% of Base Salary for Study Cost Support is provided to:
    • Students from very small ethnic minorities living in exceptionally difficult areas as defined by the government. The support duration does not exceed 10 months per academic year per student, and the number of years of support aligns with the official training period.
  • 60% of Base Salary for Study Cost Support is provided to:
    • Students from ethnic minorities in poor or near-poor households. The support duration does not exceed 10 months per academic year per student, and the number of years of support aligns with the official training period.
